SERIES 2004 $50 PREMIUM FEDERAL RESERVE SET - The Bureau of Engraving and Printing’s BEP Store (www.moneyfactory.gov) experienced a significant system failure during the release of the Series 2004 $50 Premium Federal Reserve Set. This system failure adversely impacted customers during the ordering process. It is with great regret that this situation occurred and the BEP is doing everything within our power to ensure a fair and equitable solution is achieved. Due to this failure our system oversold this product, requiring the BEP to restrict quantity purchases per customer. We will utilize a lottery system to determine the serial number range for all received orders.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you encountered in the ordering process. The Bureau is working on a solution to ensure this does not reoccur.
