2007 Commemorative Intaglio Print
Subscription Program
(Available February 27, 2007 –Price $35.00) -The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) participates in various numismatic exhibitions throughout the year, wherein we offer intaglio prints to commemorate our attendance. The BEP is pleased to introduce its 2007 Intaglio Print Subscription Program, “Five Dollar Reflections.” Each card will be released in conjunction with the BEP’s participation at the specific event listed on the Exhibitions Schedule on the next page of this release. These commemorative prints represent an exquisite compilation of unique engraved currency and vignettes reflecting the age old art of intaglio printing.
The two cards selected for this year’s exhibition program feature a $5 United States Note, Series 1880 (back), and a $5 Treasury Note, Series 1891 (back). Each card will also feature vignettes and portraits representative of the location where the event will be held. We are extremely proud of the collection selected for 2007, and we are pleased to offer the “Five Dollar Reflections” subscription program to you.
To ensure that you receive both intaglio prints in the “Five Dollar Reflections” collection you MUST subscribe by March 16, 2007. Each intaglio print will be shipped after the first day of sale for that card (see exhibitions schedule below).
